Here are the rules for the Summer Reading Program:
1. Reading logs need to be kept up because we will check them each week. Record the titles of all the books you have read or were read to you before you return them to the library. Those of you entering 3rd-5th, record the title and number of pages read. Make sure the books read are at the appropriate age level!
2. Comic books, joke books, and graphic novels can be fun to read but will not be counted on your reading log.
3. For kids who cannot read, they can participate by having a parent, grandparent, or other adult read to them.
4. Reading requirements/reading level are for the grade the child will be entering for the 2014-2015 school year.
5. Minimum reading requirements for each week are: Preschool-2nd grade: 5 books each week; 3rd-5th grade: 130 pages each week.
6. By participating and meeting the weekly requirements, kids will be signed up to win prizes!
